Christmas fun

Avery loved Christmas. Opening presents was great fun this year. Her sled was a big hit. What fun to sit in a sled and have mom and dad pulll me around for hours.

Halloween

We went to Crossroads Village in Flint with Grandma and Grandpa Shepherd and got lots of candy and then went on a train ride at which point I decided I was exhausted and tried to sleep in Grandma's arms.

Tigers win to tie for post season play

Mom and Dad went to Comerica Park on Friday night and left me home with Grandma and Grandpa. Sunday afternoon they took me to the last regular season game and we won. We are tied with Minnesota for the chance to play post-season. Their will be a tiebreaker on Tuesday. Dad is excited. I ran around the handicapped area for 5 innings clapping whenever I saw others clap and dancing to all of the great music and flirting with everyone who would wave at me. Great time!

The Apple Orchard

Avery picked an apple off of the tree at this apple farm and literally just started knawing. Thirty minutes later she had eaten half an apple and was done. Then she downed a glass of apple cider! She loved the apple orchard.

A week at the Lake

Mom could not find where she packed her camera for the first 6 days so all of the pictures we have are from the same day.

Word Explosion

In the last few weeks Avery has had a word explosion...new words everyday.

Here Shadow

Every morning the very first thing that Avery wants to do is to find Shadow and let him outside and go play with him. She loves to pet Shadow and she is finally getting really good at being gentle.

My new leg warmers and shoes

Mom found a website called etsy.com and fell in love and has bought me shoes, leg warmers and a winter hat. It was cold enough here the other day to wear my new leg warmers and my new shoes.

My new sailor outfit

Grandma bought this outfit for me. And asked that a picture of me be taken the first time that I wore it. Well...I wore it to church Sunday. Also, I went to see Dr. M today and she said that I was healthy again! YEAH! All that spinach eating paid off. And I now weigh...that's right 20 pounds! I am a big girl!

Strawberry blonde for sure

My hair certainly is turning more of a reddish tint th older I get. I m one happy camper. My mommy is home every day now and I love it!

We have a walker!

No pictures or video yet. I took 7 steps while mom watched and screamed and dad was out mowing the lawn. Mom brought dad inside and made me walk again (4 steps this time) . Then Dad went outside and finished mowing. I walked again. (3 steps) Then it was bed time. I guess I will have to practice more tomorrow.

Kensington Petting Zoo

What fun mom and I had today with Ava and her mom! We went to the petting zoo! They had sheep, roosters, chicken, goats ...all sorts of animals. They even had a giant horse. He was huge. He was even bigger than the big people. We went to play in a little person sized house and they had sandboxes and we had so much fun!

First in the division baby!

The Tigers are first in their division! Way to go! GO TIGERS!

Spring break fun!

Mom and I played every day. Awesome fun! We went to Grandmas since they finally returned home after 3 month down south. We went shopping, because that is what we girls do. We went to visit daddy for lunch. It was a great spring break!

Avery's First Bike Ride

Today it was a beautiful 50 degrees outside so we decided it was time for Avery's first bike ride. We drove to the county park about 10 minutes away and rode the 8.2 mile round trip path. Avery screamed for the last 3 miles,because she loved the sound her voice made as we went over the bumps.

Local hangout for babies

I attempted to go head first down the slide. Mom held on tight to me though and slide down the slides with me feet first! What great fun we had. Ironically when we got there, my friend Maddie was there, so we hung out for a little while. Yeah fun with friends!

Tubby

Mom and Dad have to force me to get out the the Tubby. I love it. Water and floating. What fun!
